Featuring Andy Calvert from gIVEgOODs, the band formed in May 2008 for a University of Sydney “Battle of the Bands”, which they won despite not having any Pearl Jam covers in their repertoire (well, none that we know of). Since then they have supported Smudge, Richard In Your Mind, 78 Saab, Youth Group, Dead Letter Chorus and Howe Gelb from Giant Sand.
Wifey don’t take themselves too seriously but can sure pen a good tune. Uplifting indie pop with some country twang.
